Where are you located?

We are located in downtown Plattsburg, Mo.  ! Our address is 100 N Main  Street, Plattsburg, Mo.  64477  

How long does a candle pour workshop last?

A typical candle-pouring experience takes about an (1) hour to complete. 

Did you say you serve wine?

Yes, we do! We now offer wine as part of the candle creating experience. Please have your ID ready when your wine order is placed. 

Can I use my own vessels/containers?

Moondance (Our Candle Bar) has tested the safety of using our vessels, fragrance, and waxes together. Due to safety issues, we will only allow the use of our own vessels/containers for your candle-pouring experience.  

Oh, no! I can’t make it to the event, but I’ve already paid for my ticket!

Tickets are non-refundable. Please reach out to the event coordinator, asap, to see if future accommodations can be made. 

Do you host private parties?

We love celebrating occasions or hosting a private date night. We can accommodate parties of  up to 10. Please give us a call at 816-539-6045 or send us a message for more information.

How long does it take for the candle to cure?

5 days, and then you can enjoy your creation.

Your candle will be ready to take home in about an hour. If you need to leave your candle with us to pick up at a later date, will keep your candle for up to 2 weeks. Please see one our candle artisans to make pick-up arrangements. 

Ok, I’ve created my candle, allowed it to cure for 5 days. I’m ready burn my candle, but how do I care for it?  

Please refer to the candle care care packaged with you candle and always burn responsibly.

• Avoid excessive burn times; no longer than 3-4 hours is recommended.
• Never leave candles during unattended.
• Keep candles out of the reach of children.
• Trim the wick to 1/4” tall before EACH burn to avoid tall hazardous flames.
• Allow candle to melt to the edge of candle to prevent tunneling. 

Pottery- Let's talk Pottery. Can i take my masterpiece home as soon as i paint it?

Nope. Good things take time and so does your masterpiece. We need 7-10 days to dry, clear glaze, and fire your piece. We will give you a call or send you a text when your piece is ready.

How long does it take to paint?

Well, that depends on what you choose to paint. Smaller pieces don't take very long-maybe 30 minutes. The larger pieces take longer, of course. We usually recommend planning to spend 90 minutes or so in the studio. If you don't finish, we will hold it for you and you can return later when convenient. 

What about those of us who have ZERO creativity? We are important too.

Yes, you all are very important. Don't worry. No fretting. We have staff available to walk you through the process and make recommendations as much or as little as you want. Today's glazes and techniques make this a fun and very simple process. We make you look like the creative "Rock Star" that you are!
